Winona Laura Horowitz is a Hollywood actress and a convicted shoplifter. She was born October 29, 1971, in Winona, Minnesota. Obviously she was named after her birthplace. She is a Hollywood actress by the screen name Winona Ryder. She got into legal trouble in December 2001 when she was caught shoplifting from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, California, USA.

Her film credits include Beetlejuice[?] (1988), The Age of Innocence[?] and Little Women (which scored her Oscar nominations in 1994 and '95), Mermaids[?], The Crucible, and Alien: Resurrection. She also executive produced and starred in Girl, Interrupted.
