Salisbury State University

Salisbury University (Salisbury State University prior to 2001) is a nationally accredited, four-year comprehensive university located in the city of Salisbury on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The college was founded in 1925 as a two-year institution to train teachers. The school has grown steadily since that point and now has an average enrollment of over 6,000 undergraduate and 600 graduate students.

Currently, Salisbury University offers 35 distinct undergraduate and graduate degree programs. There are now four schools, all endowed, at the University:

- Fulton School of Liberal Arts - Henson School of Science and Technology - Perdue School of Business - Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies

School colors are maroon and gold. Mascot is the Seagull.
