Lin Sen

Lin Sen (林森 Pinyin: Lín Sēn) (18681943), courtesy name Zichao (子超), sobriquets Changren (長仁) and Oldman Green-magical-plant (青芝老人 Qingzhi Laoren), was Chairman of the National Government of the Republic of China. He both succeeded and was succeeded by Chiang Kai-shek to the post.

Born in Minhou County (閩侯縣), Fujian, Lin Sen has previously served as an anti-Qing revolutionary (in the [[United League]]) and overseas organizer for the Kuomintang. He politically opposed Chiang Kai-shek and was appointed only as a sign of personal tribute and held few powers. He died at the age of 76 in Chongqing.
