Jacques Louis David

Jacques-Louis David (1748 - 1825) was a French painter.

He was a central figure of the French Neoclassicism art movement.

His major works include Oath of Horatii (Louvre, 1784), Death of Marat (Brussels, 1793) and Coronation of Napoleon (Louvre, 1805).
