Bodh Gaya

Bodh Gaya or Bodhgaya is the location in India of Gautama Siddhartha's attainment of unsurpassed and supreme Enlightenment. The complex, about 60 miles from Patna in the state of Bihar, holds the Mahabodhi Temple with the diamond throne (called the Vajrasana) and the holy Bodhi tree.

Bodh Gaya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site specifically nominated for the international World heritage program.
