Big East Conference

The Big East Conference is a collegiate athletics conference consisting of fifteen universities in the northeastern United States:

• Boston College
• University of Connecticut (non-football member)
• Georgetown University (non-football member)
• University of Miami
• University of Notre Dame (non-football member)
• University of Pittsburgh
• Providence College (non-football school)
• Rutgers University
• St. John's University (non-football member)
• Seton Hall University (non-football school)
• Syracuse University
• Temple University
• Villanova University (non-football member)
• Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)
• West Virginia University

Not all members are NCAA Division I-A teams -- some participate in the Division I-AA depending upon the sport.

Member schools participate in baseball, men's and women's basketball, cross country[?], field hockey, football, golf, lacrosse, women's rowing, men's and women's soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, and volleyball.
