Bendis

The wife of the early Greek Sun God, Sabazius, Bendis was a Moon Goddesses worshipped for fertility and the hunt. She was made popular in Attica by the Thracians and a cult sprang up around her in 430 BC.

Bendideia was a festival held for her in Athens by her followers, which involved torch races and orgiastic rites. Plato later included her in his writings.
